Harry Mangat is an Indian chef and the founder of Biji Dining, a nomadic pop-up dining project. For 18 years, he has built a community around food, working with farmers, producers, chefs, and guests. Together with his wife, Sandy Soerjadhi, their projects have taken them to some of the world’s most beautiful regions, including Flinders Island, the Daintree Rainforest, Tasmania’s east coast, New Zealand, India, and Belgium. With his creative use of spices, Harry continues to skillfully blend Indian flavors with local, regional, and native Australian ingredients.
