Aman Lakhiani

Aman Lakhiani is a UK-based chef with Indonesian roots, whose debut restaurant, Junsei Yakitori and Bar, serves authentic yakitori and has become a culinary destination in London’s Marylebone. Aman has been enamored with the art of cooking since he was a young boy. Realizing his passion for the craft, he enrolled at Johnson & Wales University, majoring in Culinary Entrepreneurship. He worked at Tsukiji Sushi Academy and later at Dos Palillos, a restaurant in Barcelona that explores Japanese cuisine through the eyes of Albert Raurich, former head chef of El Bulli. He also worked at Restaurant Locavore, a regular on Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants list, located in Ubud, among others.

Aman Lakhiani adalah seorang koki keturunan Indonesia yang berbasis di Inggris. Restoran pertamanya, Junsei Yakitori and Bar, menyajikan yakitori autentik dan telah menjadi destinasi kuliner di Marylebone, London. Sejak kecil, Aman sudah terpikat dengan seni memasak. Menyadari hasratnya di dunia kuliner, ia melanjutkan studi di Johnson & Wales University, mengambil jurusan Culinary Entrepreneurship. Ia pernah bekerja di Tsukiji Sushi Academy, kemudian di Dos Palillos, sebuah restoran di Barcelona yang mengeksplorasi masakan Jepang melalui perspektif Albert Raurich, mantan kepala koki El Bulli. Ia juga pernah bekerja di Restaurant Locavore di Ubud, yang secara rutin masuk dalam daftar Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants, serta beberapa restoran lainnya.
