Gede Artha is an agricultural entrepreneur dedicated to empowering local communities and fostering social entrepreneurship. In 2015, he established Gede Jamur, a sustainable Integrated Mushroom Farming initiative in Karangasem. His aim was to transform the perception of farmers from being old, impoverished, and associated with menial work, into young, trendy, profitable, and modern farmers. In addition to managing his business, Gede leads various agricultural projects through Gede Agro Sari. One notable collaboration is with the Pertamina Foundation on the ‘Mushroom Cultivation: From Waste to Blessing’ social project, benefitting 34 farmers in Karangasem Regency.
