Shae McNamara

Shae McNamara is the founder of Expat. Roasters, a Bali-based specialty coffee producer driven by a desire to produce an exceptional brew from the ground up. His culinary journey started when he set up a cafe in Venice, Italy, in 2007, and became a consultant for cafe openings in Australia, Europe, and Asia. A coffee afficionado, Shae has extensive experience in Australia’s coffee scene, serving as the National Chairman of the Australian Specialty Coffee Association (ASCA) board and the National Coffee Ambassador for Grinders Coffee, one of Australia’s largest coffee groups. In 2016, Shae was crowned Australian champion in the Coffee and Good Spirits competition, later securing 4th place globally in Shanghai.
