Following this lifelong passion for cooking, he pursued culinary training in Chile and Valencia, Spain. Cristian’s culinary career took him to several fine-dining restaurants across Chile, New Zealand, and Australia, where he honed his skills and expanded his culinary knowledge. In 2014, he proudly opened his first restaurant, PICA South American Kitchen, which showcases the unique culinary expressions of the South American continent, with a particular emphasis on the vibrant flavors of Peruvian cuisine. Cristian’s approach to cuisine is characterized by playfulness and sincerity, evident in every element of his dishes, from technique to texture and color. He is driven by an unwavering commitment to creativity and balance in the kitchen, always striving to deliver exceptional flavors.
