Sneak peek into the 2016 UFF Flores Food + Photos Cruise June 1 – 7

If you’ve ever paged through a cookbook by Nigella Lawson, Bill Granger, Delia Smith or Donna Hay, chances are you’ve salivated over a Petrina Tinslay shot. We are so excited to have this Sydney-based photographer and creative force join us for the inaugural UFF Cruise, where she will share with us her love for travel and food photography, plus all the tricks of the trade. Says Petrina: “I’m very excited about being a part of the cruise and can’t wait to see this gorgeous part of the world!”

Adding extra flavour to this extraordinary adventure will be Ubud Food Festival Founder & Director Janet DeNeefe. Delectable Indonesian meals created and dished up by Janet and her team will come with a little pinch of nourishment for the mind as well. Days will be spent engaged in informal cooking classes exploring the delicacies of the archipelago, as you learn, taste (and perhaps even photograph) how to make a variety of fresh dishes.

Few areas in Asia can match the cultural and natural diversity found charting the chain of the Lesser Sunda Islands. Towering active volcanoes and jungle-clad mountain ranges are set against dry savannah lowlands, everything in sight teeming with wildlife. One day alone can promise it all: quiet coastal villages, emerald seas, megalithic cultures, colourful market places, tribal rituals and a world of kaleidoscopic beauty underwater.
